Giving you the knowledge, confidence & practical help to enjoy your pregnancy & have a trauma free birth
Hi, I'm Kelly, a pregnancy, birth and postpartum doula covering South London, Surrey and Kent.
I'm a proud Mum, Step-Mum and Nanny.
I have a natural passion for pregnancy, birth, babies and the magic of motherhood. I trained as a Birth Doula with Conscious Birthing in Dorset and am a certified member of Doula UK. I'm also a qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher and can support you from your very first antenatal class all the way through to your golden hour and beyond.
My approach is intuitive, compassionate and completely tailored to you.
I believe every family deserves to feel safe and supported, informed and heard and I'll always show up for you the way I would for my own closest friends and family.
Expect warmth, honesty, a listening ear, and quite possibly a good giggle about whatever's happening on the latest reality series.
About Me
When I'm not supporting families, I enjoy long walks in the country or exploring new parts of London. I share my home with my husband Jay and my youngest son along with two cats and my scruffy Shih Tzu.
I love to bake on weekends & try different recipes. Simple, healthy food made with love is my idea of happiness, whether that's a lazy lunch with friends or something thrown together from whatever's in the fridge.
My happy place is wandering around a vintage market or car boot sale finding treasures for my home & garden.
I love the Greek Islands for holidays but my dream is to one day go on safari. Nature in all its forms genuinely fills my soul.
Music is a big part of my life too and I love a disco, soul or country festival.
Friends and family are everything to me — and that warmth and loyalty is exactly what I bring to every family I support.
How I Support You
I offer full support throughout your pregnancy, available on WhatsApp whenever you or your partner have questions or concerns. I can help you explore your pain relief options, talk through your rights, and assist with preparing your birth plan. If you'd like extra support at appointments, I'm happy to come along too.
During your birth, I'm there every step of the way — hands-on, calm and completely focused on you.
After your baby arrives, I offer bespoke postnatal care including light household tasks, preparing meals, and accompanying you on those first adventures out with your newborn.
If you think I might be the right doula for you, I'd love to have a chat. Let's talk about what you need and how I can support you on this exciting journey.

Becoming a new mum is both beautiful and exhausting, and it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times. Whether you’d like to chat through your worries, have a nourishing meal prepared, or simply rest while I care for your baby, I’m here to help.
My support is tailored to you and can include looking after older children, walking the dog, light housework, and meal preparation. Think of me as a fairy godmother—someone who listens, helps, offers guidance, and looks after you so you can focus on bonding with your baby and recovering from birth.
We don’t always have nearby family or friends to lean on, and the combination of sleepless nights, hormonal shifts, and emotional ups and downs can be overwhelming—whether it’s your first baby or your fifth.
Sometimes, you just need reassurance that you’re doing okay. I can also accompany you to appointments, support you on your first outings, and provide encouragement every step of the way.

Doulas can prevent trauma by providing practical, emotional and nurturing support to the whole family during pregnancy, labour and after the birth of a baby. By offering information, and promoting self advocacy doulas give confidence which can be very empowering in helping people to expect safe and respectful maternity and postpartum care.
How Doulas Reduce the Risk of Trauma
The benefits of continuous support during labour and birth were highlighted in a Cochrane review, which analysed data from 26 studies across 17 countries involving more than 15,000 women. The following outcomes were observed for women and birth parents who were given continuous support from a doula or labour companion.
● More likely to have a vaginal birth (without the need for caesarean, forceps or vacuum extraction)
● Less likely to use pain medications
● More likely to have shorter labours
● More likely to be satisfied with their birth and postnatal experience
● The babies may be less likely to have low five-minute Apgar scores, which assess babies’ health and well-being at birth and shortly afterward
● Increased equity directly through improved women’s empowerment and provision of culturally responsive care, and indirectly by reducing the over-medicalisation of childbirth
● Increased likelihood of initiating and establishing breastfeeding
A difficult labour, lack of support, an unplanned caesarean section or emergency treatment for the mother/birth parent or baby can contribute to the risk of experiencing trauma.
Doula support can therefore reduce the risk of experiencing perinatal trauma.
It is never too early to book a Doula but usually from 24 weeks is a good time.
Babies are only born once! No, you can not put a price on your well being and feeling supported in your pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
I offer bespoke payment plans to my clients to make it affordable for all as everybody deserves a doula.

Full Antenatal Preparation in your own home, local class or online
Birth doesn't have to be something you simply endure. With the right preparation, knowledge and mindset, it can be one of the most powerful and positive experiences of your life and that's exactly what KGHypnobirthing gives you.
I teach hypnobirthing to expectant parents across South London, Surrey and online, helping families feel calm, confident and genuinely excited about their birth, wherever and however they choose.
KG Hypnobirthing is the UK's leading hypnobirthing programme, developed by Katharine Graves and used by thousands of families every year. It's not about being in a trance or only for people planning a "perfect" natural birth. It's a complete antenatal education programme rooted in physiology, psychology and mindfulness — and it works for every kind of birth.
The course teaches you:
The evidence behind hypnobirthing is compelling. Families who practise KG Hypnobirthing regularly report:
But beyond the statistics, he greatest benefit is simply feeling ready. Confident. Excited. Rather than dreading the day, you'll find yourself looking forward to it.
How I Teach KGHypnobirthing
I offer flexible options to suit every family:
Group Classes - Join a small, intimate group of expectant parents for a warm, relaxed course across multiple evenings or a weekend intensive. A wonderful way to connect with other local families while learning together. Held across South London.
Private One-to-One Courses - Prefer to learn at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home? My private courses are completely tailored to you — your birth preferences, your worries, your questions. Perfect for busy schedules or those who want a more personal experience.
Online Courses - Wherever you are in the world — or if getting out in the evenings just isn't practical — my online courses deliver exactly the same content via video call. Flexible, accessible, and just as effective.

I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through my pregnancy and birth without Kelly. From the moment we met, she felt like a trusted friend—someone who truly listened, reassured me when I had doubts, and celebrated every little milestone with me.
I didn’t have much family support during my pregnancy, and that made the journey feel even more overwhelming at times. But Kelly stepped in and filled that space with so much care and kindness. She was always there—whether it was answering my late-night texts, checking in just to see how I was feeling, or reminding me that I was strong and capable when I felt alone.
During labor, Kelly’s presence became absolutely invaluable. She knew exactly what I needed—sometimes even before I did. Her gentle words, calming touch, and unwavering encouragement helped me stay focused and trust my body. She was there for my partner too, making sure he felt supported and involved.
Looking back, I can’t imagine my birth experience without her. Kelly made me feel safe, empowered, and truly cared for at a time when I needed it most. I am forever grateful for her kindness, wisdom, and support. If you’re looking for a doula who will go above and beyond, Kelly is the one.

As a first-time dad, I was not sure what to expect during pregnancy and birth, but having you as our doula made all the difference. Your knowledge, calm presence, and genuine care helped with preparations and instilled a sense of empowerment every step of the way. You supported not only the mother of my daughter, but also me — answering questions, calming nerves, and making sure we both felt seen and heard. I am truly grateful for everything you did to guide us through such a life-changing experience. Thank you for being such a steady, compassionate presence. We could not have done it without you.
Thank you!
Zach
It would not be an exaggeration to say that meeting Kelly has changed our lives, with her helping to bring our baby girl into the world exactly how we had hoped - with unwavering support, positivity and laughter. Kelly was instrumental in us achieving a home birth, after we hit numerous brick walls due to our postcode/lack of team/funding. Had we not have met Kelly, we almost certainly would not have had a home birth - for that alone I am forever grateful.
Late into my pregnancy, my partner was offered a freelance job out of town, close to my due date. As such, we decided to get a doula on board in case I were to go into labour, so that I would have someone on hand immediately. Prior to that, I thought a doula was an unnecessary expense (for what its worth, I now think it's possibly the best investment we have ever made). As soon as I met Kelly for the first time, I knew straight away she was the doula for us; funny, thoughtful and perceptive. Having only met once, my waters broke later that week, 3 weeks early. My partner was travelling back from abroad, but though not officially on call for me yet, Kelly came over immediately and stayed with me until my partner returned later that evening. I felt completely at ease with Kelly in my home, and started my labour relaxed and happy!
I had a protracted early labour, with 3.5 days between my waters breaking and baby arriving. Kelly provided a huge amount of moral support prior to established labour, when I was feeling a lot of external pressure to be induced. I have not felt as cared for as an adult as those days running up to the birth - Kelly baked a cake for us, made ceremonial cacao for me, provided massage, breathwork...she even brought over a large paddling pool when we thought our birthing pool wasn't going to arrive on time! Those quiet moments helped to keep me calm and relaxed and conserve much needed energy. When not at our house, Kelly was always at the end of the phone. In the early hours, the Freya app confirmed I was in established labour and Kelly came over immediately, and kept me calm with more breath work and positions etc before the midwife arrived a little later on.
The birth itself was hard but such an incredible experience, and a lot of that is thanks to Kelly. She intuitively anticipated what I might want/need, and even made up a drink recipe I didn't get chance to make, to help me through labour. Throughout, Kelly was so encouraging, and I still feel bad at how hard I gripped her hands whilst contracting...she may be small, but she is a force!
I think it's also important to mention that Kelly worked incredibly well with our midwives. I have been told there can be friction between doulas and midwives on occasion, but this was not the case for us - they were a dream team, respecting each others' practice but working together throughout. Again, this made for a calm and smooth experience.
Having a relative stranger in your home could be uncomfortable, but Kelly felt like a long standing friend, and I think has become just that. We still see each other and she will remain an important part of our lives as our daughter grows up - I couldn't recommend more. Thank you, Kelly <3
